I guess I should have known she was a dingo. (I didn't read the description as closely as I thought. Darn these old eyes of mine. LOL.) Dingoes seem to becoming rather popular in anthro art nowadays, too.

I've noticed that the dingo seems to be drawn more and more. That's what I was talking about. Once upon a time, it was lions, tigers, wolves, foxes, etc. Then, slowly, dog breeds, bears, house cats, etc. Finally, it was the lesser known species such as different marsupials, dingoes, African wild dogs, etc. I guess everything runs in cycles as to what is most popular to draw.

I can't say one way or the other but it makes sense to me. Personally, when I create a character, I try to make him/her unique yet believable. The character on my DA page is one such character. She's a unique looking character but, at the same time, she's believable looking. I've got at least 50 characters that, if I could afford it, I'd have drawn and posted so people can see the kind of imagination I have. BTW, I see that you're from Argentina so how's this for a unique animal that's rarely drawn in anthro, the maned wolf. I'm sure its time is coming though.

Weeell... the country is not an important fact in that, with internet at the reach of your hand. I also possess enough characters too!, but because I have drawn various comics. Also by the fact that- ... time ago, I do not draw manga style
But often happens, that every 50 things, 10 look like something that was made
Personally I don't like create characters for doing so. For me, credibility comes from the fact create them for a purpose.
Btw that sounds nice! an artist needs imagination first of all

Don't worry about your English. I'm from an area of America that's known for using notoriously bad English so I can normally understand someone who doesn't speak English as a first language.
I don't create characters just to create them. I'm a wannabe writer and I write sci-fi. Having a good imagination and descriptive abilities helps when writing in general and writing sci-fi in particular. I usually base my creations on known animals and go from there. But, there are some notable ones that don't look like "normal" animals.
When I mentioned that you're from Argentina, I was merely using that as a way of mentioning an animal that you would know about that would make a good basis for an anthro character. I'm a lover of animals, mostly mammals, so I study them and learn about them as much as I possibly can. This helps me with my character creation for my stories.

Don't worry about it. I'm so used to rude comments (and yours wasn't rude) that when I read something that might possibly upset me I make sure I understand what's being written. So, please believe me when I say, I understand what you're talking about. BTW, have I suggested that you look at a drawing on my DA page. It's a drawing done from the description of a character I created for a story of mine. You may find it nice.
