To me the merge appears flawless. What I find good about the panorama effect is the emphasis given on the terrain with enough of the sky for a skyline all across the frame.

The landscape is so smooth and fluid yet still the ridgelines are very sharp and definite. The successive small ridgelines give it a little depth but that’s not the key to this photo. I can see it’s not golf course smooth but the flow of the features suggest that on a casual view.

Now the color. Green, yellow, orange and purple seem to predominate this colorful mix and having the sky a lighter shade of blue helps to maintain the focus on the real color. The patchiness of the color also moves your eyes over the entire length of it. Great capture, thanks for sharing with us.
