Five descendants of the Dai tribe, one of three ancient tribes of the power Daos Empire are chosen to fight against the Gorma who continue in the war between the Dai and Gorma tribes. With their high levels of chi, they are aided by the Mythical Chi Beasts. Little do they know the secrets that are kept will unravel during their journey. They are occasionally aided by a young boy who was bestowed with powers to fight in an adult form as Kibaranger.
