this is from my fanfiction about Aang and Ty Lee that i've been writing for the past year, I'm now at the point where they have entered book III.This is my rendition of them when they have to disguise themselves to blend into the Fire Nation, as Ty Lee after helping Aang is thought to be a fugitive and Traitor.

Essentially, the Fire Nation is pursuing Aang until he crashes into a mountain, with Ty Lee in one of their flying glider things, then he hurts his leg so he can't fly.Β
They both have to get off the mountain and help each other to do it, and when they do, Β they become friends (how could they not with their personalities) and she realizes how brain washed she, and the other Fire Nation are for thinking Aang and the Air Benders were wicked. Β And he sees how there ARE good fire nation

She joins Aang and as such is a traitor to the Fire Nation, so when she returns with Aang for the events of Season 3:Fire, she needs to not be recognized.

And the Fanfiction is about Aang and Ty Lee if they ended up together, essentially they both get trapped on a mountain range by themselves, and Aang hurts himself so he can't fly out, and Ty Lee has no prayer of getting down by herself, so they work together and realize why there's no reason for each other to be enemies...and slowly but surely fall for each other
