Description Every so often I'm going to be posting actors I think who would be fitting for rolls in movies, or adaptations.

They will take the place of some of my series at times, but it's only so there can be uploads every week on schedule while i draw to make the demand.

This is my fancast for DCEU's new cinematic choice for Oliver Queen, one Nikolaj Coster-Waldau from Game of Thrones and Black Hawk Down.

He's got the charisma, charm, and also grit, and seriousness needed to be the Emerald Archer, with just the right amount of conflict and darkness in him.

Nice I actually prefer Stephen Amell as the Green Arrow but I guess you can't have tv series in a movie universe huh

That's exactly why they won't use Amell for the movies, that and even the producers admit they rip off batman constantly for how to do his character

Marvel can, its three TV series (four, I hear, on the way) all interlink with the corresponding Cinematic Universe, but DC can't or won't do that.

And Daredevil, and Jessica Jones, and I hear Luke Cage soon to join the fun.

C'mon, DC, if Marvel can do it... why can't you?

Their connection is downplayed compared to the Agents of SHIELD, but its there.

Honestly that's a strength , it makes it able to stand on it's own two legs, not being dependent on the arcs of the movies, and the Netflix shows are just better than agents of shield in every regard.

That being said, i'm actually glad that Stephen Amell won't be in the cinematic universe, what Arrow has become doesn't belong on the big screen, or even called Green Arrow at this point.

Maybe during Season 2 it had a chance, but not now.

Agreed, but in a way that's been a good thing, the Green Arrow was never an A-List hero like Superman or Batman, in fact I'd go as far as to say he was closer to C-rank.  But his own show has done wonders to flesh out a personality and a profile and really give him depth, or at least expose his depth to the audience.

It was a great way to introduce him to the public, albeit a side of him that was done to an extreme that wasn't very much like the character, BUT they did make it appealing (attractive) for an audience that had no idea who he was or why they should care until that show.

Supes we've heard of , FLash even we've heard of, Green Arrow was a head scratcher for allot of people until CW did him....it just unfortunately spiraled into something less than.

True.  And it took me forever to actually delve into Arrow, I mostly watched its spin-offs before I swallowed my pride and dove into the show that began it all.  But even if I didn't warm up to it (and its still lukewarm for me) it has spawned a universe that opened up possibilities for many, many others.

It did for DC when Iron Man did for Marvel, and what Dawn of Justice is STILL failing to do.  Start something grand.
