I actually finished this a while back (in early February), but since it has been hanging in a gallery for a little while (I'll upload pictures to my scraps, if you'd like to see) I haven't been able to upload it to here. That, and since it's actually quite large, I haven't been up to taking a picture of it and going through the process of plugging in my camera and what not to the computer. Bleh, lazyness. >.<

Besides that, I am extremely proud with this piece. Considering this was my first time drawing a quail, I was quite happy with it. Also, this was for my dad's birthday (which is in May, I know, really early) so I had to make it absolutely perfect, since he's the perfect dad, haha. I got the idea because he loves quail so much, and he's been asking for a drawing, so this is what was produced. After five weeks of working, I finally got this done, with an extreme sense of satisfaction.

This was done with ink and charcoal, with a small reference for the feathers and markings (reference from a wildlife calander).
