Muriel (the Lugia) was next to join in but that time takumi had nothing to do with it directly this time. Salvia was the one who brought her in, after a few days of visiting her at her church and influencing her to pull away from it and come with her, making her question her faith in Arceus~
she would join in for the sake of being a rebel since deep down she thought most of the ways of her church was stupid to her deep down but never objected to it because it was expected of her by her family and the church. Muriel was one of those situations where she was not truly as faithful as her family was and only did it because she was told to, and because she thinks it would make them happy, but she isn't really happy with it herself.

i will think more deeply about it... but that is the general idea.
