I love beech...and also the "nuts"...they are a bit poisonous but it depends on the amount you eat if its really doing any harm....my grandma used to make oil of em..in war times...can save a life huh xD

Never taste the fruits ! Don't think it was eatable, it's the same with acorn so, you can cook them after leaving them in water several days to remove tannins, you can make wheat after that too

Yeah but I think Acorns have even more poison, I forgot the name but I think it was not tannin...I know of people who make coffee from it...but apparantly its not really worth it because of the taste and unhealthy effect. xD

You have to keep them in water for a long long time to avoid unhealthy effects but as you said, it can save lifes during war

Now I'm listening it again and again. Although this one was one of his later songs (about the same time as "on écrit sur les murs"), memories of older songs keep coming back more and more. Memories of a - perhaps lost - youth, filling my eyes with tears.....  I just love(d) his voice.....

I was too young to understand english lyrics at this time I cannot remember him singing in english, I have the feeling that WE only had his French songs when I was young, except Aphrodite Childs in 70'
We've lost youth but each age bring something new and différent...there is no point to look back and he's here with us forever due to CDs and youtube
