The only thing I don't like about this story is that it doesn't have an origin for the Beast before he became what he is. Clearly, the only film version to give him one is non other than Disney, only they made him to start out selfish and temper-mental.

in the new remake i actually calculated how long the beast existed and i got to the conclusion that it's around 8 months.
