wanted to recreate the movie scene from charlie and the chocolate factory when he just opens the bar and sees the glimmer of the golden ticketthe process was really fun. i remade the actual wrapper in Photoshop and then bought a HUMUNGOUS Hershey bar and wrapped it around that...totally binged on chocolate the whole time!

It really could be a seen from a Charlie and the Chocolate Factory movie and I think you captured the atmosphere of the book and the movies really well.
Seeing this, makes me want to watch the movie again.

Do they still sell Wonka chocolate bars? I mean I know the Wonka brand is still out, but I've wondered if they still sell chocolate or not. And as a question also- was the candy based off the movie, or the movie based off the candy?

yeah they still sell chocolate..and its delicious. the actual candy is owned by nestle so its appearance with the wrapping and such is determined by them and its very different then what you see in the films.
i think the movie and the candy were both based off Roald Dahl's novel. ;D
