Description "A man who lies to himself and believes his own lies, becomes unable to recognize the truth, either in himself or in anybody else. He ends up losing respect for himself and everyone else.- was once said by a famous philospher. Does it sound familiar?" A deep chuckle accompanied the sentence when silence was the response. "Philosphy is about questioning everything about the world, down to the last detail. -You all should know that by now?" Flipping to the next page, the professor scanned the whole room, keeping posted with who was paying attention and who was not. When a young man from the top row caught his eye he called,

"Choi Seunghyun-ssi, can you give us another?"

Seunghyun wasn't bothered with getting called on, he actually like getting his credits for classes. He wasn't shy to admit it. "Every lie is a poison; there are no harmless lies. Only the truth is safe. Only the truth gives me consolation- it is the one and unbreakable diamond." Seunghyun stated firmly, as he quietly sat back in his chair to only recieve an approving smile from the professor.

"Brilliant. -that is exactly how it's done." And the professor resumed the lesson as he turned around writing on the smartboard.

Leaning into his chair, Seunghyun crossed his legs elegantly and pushed his reading glasses up the bridge of his nose. The lights in the room dimmed until the words on the board was legible. Recieving a tap on his shoulder, Seunghyun turned to his left side to his partner, Lee Ha Na. She held her book out towards Seunghyun who already knew what she wanted.

She wanted help of course, and Seunghyun obliged immediately. Taking the book into his hands he begins writing step-by-step ways in order to find the answer- he never gave anyone answers, he wanted them to actually learn something. And he hands back the workbook to her.

By the end of class he's still working in his work book; he was well on his way to finishing the rest of the book until yet another tap on the shoulder steals his attention away from the work book. "Hi there, Seunghyun." The voice was soft and unharming.
Looking up at the woman standing besides him, he casually gives a 'hello' back.

"Would you like to do something? It's the weekend and theres a festival happening near Han River and-"

"Sorry, SiRi, I'm busy this weekend." Seunghyun interupted her as he closed his workbook and began packing his items in his bag. "Maybe some other time." Standing up finally he takes off his glasses, he bows his head slowly and than leaves the huge room silently.

While walking through the hallways, Seunghyun throws his black shoulder bag over his shoulder and walks out of the building and through campus grounds looking for a specific someone who he needed to return a book to. Walking through the big grass field he spotted the hidden staircase at the next building and casually went down the stairs into the dark hallway.

The smell of water and chlorine was stinging his nostrils slightly, but he already gotten use to it. He walked straight down towards the doorway at the end of the hallway where he overheard splashes. As he reached the pool area, Seunghyun's eyes peered through the whole area to find one of his close friends laid out on the bench with his eyes closed.

"Jaejoong-ssi, are you already tired of swimming? Maybe you should just quit." Seunghyun spoke aloud with a smug smile directed towards Jaejoong.

Slowly opening his eyes, Jaejoong frowned "Oh please, Mr-I-know-everything-so-i-dont-need-to-try. You seriously have everything easy, I wonder if you ever regret being too smart."

Seunghyun laughed silently to himself, "Easy?" He repeated speechless, "Just because I know more, doesn't exactly make everything else easier- everyone expects more from me and wants me to become one of those big-shots that society relies on." Sighing Seunghyun sits besides Jaejoong, placing his bag besides him. "Honestly, I don't want to become that."

"Then don't." Jaejoong flatly said as he sat up and stared at Seunghyun. "It's your life, you should do something you want to do. Something that you enjoy doing -you pretty much could be anything you want with your grades."

Meeting eyes with Jaejoong, "But I don't really have anything i enjoy doing..." It almost came off as a whisper, but Jaejoong heard. Seunghyun's eyes shifted towards the pool, breaking eye contact with Jaejoong; he stayed quiet until a hand on his shoulder startled him out of his thoughts.

"Hey, Seunghyun, this is why people our age go out every night! -You just need to get out more often, that's all. Don't worry too much about it!" Pushing himself off the bench, Jaejoong threw his towel over his shoulder and walked towards the locker room.

Leaving Seunghyun to sit by himself, he waited and gazed at the books in his bag with an uncertain look on his face. Than suddenly a beeping in his pocket calls for his attention, and he gladly gives it to the phone he pulled out. Flipping the phone open it was his mother,

"Hello?Mother? What's going on?" He asks.

'Ah, son! I'm sorry I'm asking you this but can you please go pick up your sister from work? I'm afraid that child will go drinking again tonight.' Seunghyun frowned but silently obliged to his mother's request like he always did as the 'good-son' he was. He never rebelled unlike his sister; they were total opposites and their personalities contradicted each others.

Joining him on his way to pick up his elder sister, Jaejoong decided to tag along no matter the multiple times Seunghyun said, 'its okay, you don't need to come'. He enjoyed being with Seunghyun, he found it amusing how the man always managed to calculate the amount of time it would take to get to a certain location just by using basic knowledge.
In this case getting to the store his sister works at will take fifteen minutes at most if the subway is not packed.

Waiting for the train to come, Seunghyun and Jaejoong leaned onto the wall on the far right side.

They barely talked about anything, it made Seunghyun wonder why Jaejoong was still friends with him for so long despite their totally different personas and likes. They had really nothing to talk about unless it had something to do with sucking up to the other person or just debating on their likes and dislikes. As they gotten on the train they stood and held onto a nearby pole.

While Jaejoong stared at one end of the cart, Seunghyun observed him. He doesn't have a problem with Jaejoong's appearance, and he doubt that Jaejoong had a problem with his. Seunghyun just found it to be a bit weird- as if he missed something. The man was able to memorize and remember numorous things from textbooks and notes but when it came to how he met Jaejoong its all fuzzy.

Getting off the train soon enough, both boys take their time walking up the stairs and exiting the train station, and it was once they gotten out the train station they spotted the big green bubble letters that said 'G-Market' brightening up the traffic intersection.

Why was it that when Seunghyun came near this store it would always be crowded with young teenagers and fan girls- what was so special about an expensive clothing store?

They waited before crossing until the walking signal was lit brightly, it was amazing how fast the day went. The bright sky left the city of Seoul in the darkness of the night with only city lights exposing surroundings.

Walking along with the crowd, Seunghyun made his way into the bright clothing store.
The store has been open for over a couple months now, and it's still crowded. Seunghyun sighed as his eyes searched each aisle; luckily in this case, he was tall and can see over the crowd. When his eyes caught a woman chatting near the cashier he speed walked towards that area and stood quietly behind the woman.

When the woman's friend looks up and spots Seunghyun behind, she cleared her throat and turned away from the other woman's attention. Leaving the woman to turn around and find Seunghyun standing idly; waiting.

"Noona, mom wanted me to bring you home." He said awaiting to hear his older sister try to resist his action. And she did, like she always does.

She exhaled deeply and rolled her eyes as she took a pile of folded clothing into the back; Seunghyun following her. "Mom's worried about you noona, you always come home reeking of liquor- maybe if you were a bit more responsible you'd-"

"Shut up, Seunghyun! You are my dongsaeng, and you're the one scolding me?" It irritated her the fact their parents trusted Seunghyun even more despite their age. Placing each shirt in the same box she glared at Seunghyun.

"Noona, you know whats right and yet you rebel anyways! You won't earn mother and father's trust that way." Seunghyun sighed folding his arms and watching Hyeyoon packing shirts. "And how long will you continue working for this place? Mother said you're doing it for somet guy."

"He's not some guy, Seunghyun!" She growled as she taped the box and pushed it to the side. "He can be your brother-in-law for all you know!"

"Brother-in-law?" Seunghyun repeated speechless. "Don't you know that you shouldn't give your whole life away for some guy you know nothing about?! Noona, you have such a good life ahead of you, why waste it on some guy?"

She stayed silent as she continued to walk down the hallway into the locker room, following yet again Seunghyun was beginning to feel worried. "You wouldn't understand, you've never been in love. You're just all about brains, you cant solve love as easily as an equation, Seunghyun."Hyeyoon paused while slipping on her light sweater and than her purse. She walked around Seunghyun and stood in the doorway, "-So don't act like you understand love so easily." And she walked into the hallway once again, leaving Seunghyun alone in the locker room.

In one of the chairs besides him, he sat down, dumbfounded he looked around the lockeroom finding a poster on one of the walls. It was a simple advertising poster for the store but it made Seunghyun wonder what made his sister so serious to chase after such a man.

Pressing his eyes he was silent, for the first time he couldn't understand the love that his sister had for the mysterious man.

He was curious.
