Said to be a prehistoric form of the more well-known Electric-type Tynamo, its Feronan counterpart is a aquatic-body dweller. It is able to flourish in both fresh and salt water environments due to the special slime it produces -- it has filter properties allowing Tynamo to ingest any water without causing it harm. The slime is also used to narrowly escape some of its potential predators.

Feronan Eelektrik dwells deep within swamps and oceans, wishing to be undisturbed as it collects debris from the floors to strengthen the viscosity of its now protruding slime appendages. Instead of preying on live fish Pokemon, it collects the leftover meat and bones of half-eaten water Pokemon and eat them once in a while when no other Pokemon are around. When desperate for food, however, it will track small fish and capture them by engulfing them by slime, although this is rarely done due to how it delays the power-up process of the slime.
