I think my biggest gripe with this would be the lack of contrast. Adding contrast may just make the whole image pop. Try it at home. 
Otherwise, its a cool shot. I like the fact that you have a centre of focus.. that's cool.

this is an old pic, i didnt know much about pre-publishing touches, so its not as good as i could make it now...
i gave u on updating my older shots; would simply take too much time

the image could use a stonger contrast, it would be more vivid and, therefore, more striking....but i like this shot alot!!
...i often stopped to look at he footprints in the snow, and in the sand....our own and of others...interesting how a piece of our life is written in them...
..how would it be if, at the end of our lives, someone would give us the map of all the footprints we've left on the world...?

i submitted this over a year ago, back when my use of photoshop was limited to using filters and hue changes.. i might retouch it and resubmit it, ill see..
lets just say for me, my footprints would be deep, for i've had a lot of things on my shoulders since i've been a child
