Sonic: Sora, Donald, Goofy, we need to get some distance away from this guy as soon as possible.
Mecha Sonic: Oh, running away? That's nothing new, although bringing stragglers into this bloodbath...it feels like a gift. One that I'm willing to accept.
Sora: (growls) How bad are we talking?
Sonic: Metal Sonic Prime was bad. Mecha Sonic is worse.
Goofy: I think we may have bitten off than we can chew with this one, Donald.
Donald: I probably should have listened to Uncle Scrooge when it comes to killer robots...or their creators.
Mecha Sonic: It's probably too late for you considering that associating with the Hedgehog means you're my newest targets. Still, I have time to kill, so once I'm done killing everyone on this planet...again...you're next, Sonic. But first... (smashes passage to the Master Emerald)
Sonic: (thinking) There goes Plan A.
Mecha Sonic: And now to deal with you three insignificant pests. (channels the power of the Chaos Emerald in his hands) NOW I DINE ON DUCK SOUP! (charges after Donald, only with Goofy to try to block the blow with his shield. The result was a shockwave, but it put Donald and Goofy in a mild distance away from Mecha Sonic) Well, I always did like the chase. (Sonic blocks his way) Are you doing this...now?
Sonic: Sorry, but no one's killing anyone today on my watch. (looks at Sora) Sora, run! Take your friends as far away as possible and don't look back!
Sora: But Sonic...
Sonic: But nothing, Sora. I don't know what you guys are facing, but Mecha Sonic is a cold-blooded killer. Besides, I can't have my friends die on me when I just met them.
Sora: (understands completely) Right. (rushes over to Donald and Goofy and carries them out of Mecha Sonic's range)
Mecha Sonic: (looks at them, then Sonic) You do know that suicide is the coward's way out, right?
Sonic: (says nothing as he stares him down)
Mecha Sonic: What, no witty retort? I thought you were all about the attitude.
Sonic: I am. I just don't give them to people trying to kill my friends (before Mecha could mention Infinite) and being successful at it.
Mecha Sonic: Multiverse theory. Quite a b*tch. But if you're thinking of dying, prepare to be disappointed. (attempts to Punch sonic, only for him to block...and counter with a spin kick) And I was going to say as soon as I'm done beating you to a pulp, I'll make you watch your friends suffer. (Now it was Sonic that made the punch, making Mecha stagger backwards) Because how else am I going to make sure you fight at your fullest?
Sonic: (chuckles)
Mecha Sonic: ...I never thought you'd develop a sense of black comedy.
Sonic: No, just realized that Eggman made you more like me than I thought possible. It's just disturbing to see it this twisted...like a corrupted computer program, but that's someone else's specialty.
Mecha Sonic: Then why are you laughing?
Sonic: Because I didn't think it would be quick.
Mecha Sonic: I thought I made it clear that when your friends were to perish, only then would you have my permission to die. Or... (realizes something and turns around to see the hole from the former blocked passageway...to see a red echidna, a black and red hedgehog, a purple cat, and a white hedgehog with glowing arms) And I was going to ask if Shadow was busy, but you managed to bring the Knucklehead.
Knuckles: I'm going to pretend I didn't hear that. (looks at Sonic) And I half-expected you to already be beaten to a pulp.
Silver: I take it this guy is dangerous?
Shadow: This is what happens when Metal Sonic's obsession for defeating Sonic goes into overdrive. We call him Mecha Sonic. (Silver blocks missile heading their way from Mecha) And I see your telepathy is as strong as ever.
Mecha Sonic: And I didn't think there would be a waiting line. But I'm assuming that the Guardian's up first considering he hasn't had a break since the Resistance won against Dr. Eggman that day. Then again, considering his display and the solution being to "wait for Sonic and the Rookie while we deal with the Cannon Fodder," I'm not surprised. You're never exactly used to being in the battlefield nowadays.
Knuckles: (angry) And you know what I say to that? There were extenuating circumstances, I have my duty as guardian of the Master Emerald to consider, and SCREW YOU AND YOUR INSULTS! Now TAKE THIS! (charges inward)
Mecha Sonic: Aww, that's adorab- (gets punched into the nearby temple) GYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!! (the Chaos Emerald is dropped; Knuckles grabs it)
Sonic: (smirks) Like how we first met, except I was the one that was charging in.
Knuckles: (tosses the Chaos Emerald to Shadow) Had to keep myself preparing for Eggman's next plan somehow. But I'm pretty sure he's not going to lie down after that last punch.
Mecha Sonic: UPSTART GUARDIAN WHO...
Silver: No ya don't! (freezes him in place with telekinesis) Blaze!
Blaze: (nods as she brings an inferno of fire to do damage to Mecha's hull) Shadow, if he's as strong as you say he is, then make it quick! Silver can only hold him for much longer.
Sonic: And knowing Mecha as much as I do myself, he's probably going to mention a five-on-one cage match that's VERY one-sided.
Shadow: Thanks for the warning. (channels Chaos Emerald) Now...CHAOS SPEAR! (launches a few spears on hand the moment Silver starts to lose his grip on Mecha Sonic, the flames receding...and Mecha still upright even after losing an arm)
Mecha Sonic: (growls) Ah, so that's what he meant by Real Super Power of Teamwork. Well, I do love a good...
Shadow: Pal, I barely stand any of the real Sonic's quips as it is. What makes you think I'd tolerate them from a Faker like you?
Mecha Sonic: I was going to say "manslaughter," by the way.
Shadow: STOP. IT.
Sonic: (gets up) At at this point, we've stalled long enough. You may have succeeded in another time, but this isn't that time or place.
Mecha Sonic: (glares) Well, if you're willing to die that badly, I might as well show you a neat trick. (nanobots can be seen reconstructing his arm) Now, I'll be taking that Emerald back...and see if I can knock a few heads off. I must admit, I never did think that the world I left had any survivors, but that's another time. For now, let's see if your teamwork can handle THIS! (charges the five as they brace for impact)

The Command deck should have gold rings underneath a spinning Chaos Emerald as the finger/arrow to select the option. It looks empty without something there.
