This is my entry for a MYO Maskcatz, a species owned by onigiryStuffI have to admit I worked quite a long time until I actually liked the outcome, but now I'm totally into it, which is another reason why I'd really like to keep him.
And I've alwas admired Maskcatz, and started about twice already for draw to adopt entries, in which I decided tho not to entry at the end, as I didn't feel too close to the design, so I really appreciate this MYO event <3
Well here some information about this character:

This Maskcat is much of a freerunner, he enjoys freedom a lot. He isn't much of a fighter, since he's filled with smoke inside, he tends to loose consciousness easily when hurt.Delsin has the tall body shape of a Mascatz, which allows him to be very flexible and easily move around. Some may address on him as a ninja, as he likes to slip over the roofs of the quiet cities at night. He was born in the desert and still enjoys the sandy area a lot. He does like cities, but not the too big one's and not at day, as he hates too loud noises. Delsin is more of a loner, but at times he enjoys company a lot, for example when he travels around with the attempt to see the world, which is apparently his life goal. He is rather resistant against temperature changes, as he is used to cold, windy nights and hot, sandy days. When he travels, he often turns into his doll form to unnoticedly get carried by people or cars etc. .
Delsin mostly doesn't wear his pants in his cat form, simply because he feels handicapped with them on. Sometimes he doesn't wear them as a humanoid, which he noticed, tho, is very irritating for people.

well normally it just works that you pay the person who owns the species and then you can make you own haha
but this one is more like a contest, and as far as I know there are 4 winners ;^;

oh so you basically buy a custom that you make yourself haha, actually that seems better than customs since you can play around with the design

yeah, exactly XD somehow it's rather ridiculous lately, as I feel like most of them are waaay too expensive and dude, it's just a species .-. ( *is in reality just super jealous on how easily such people make money orz* ) I would never buy me for example a cinnadog slot for like 30 dollars, my god, but I was really lucky to somehow got a slot gifted??? that was so random

yeah i know right im not really into any closed species or anything but i see how expensive they get, like wow how do people have that much money to just throw around even if its not myo, like if its bidding, the bids get crazy expensive .-.

I keep saying I'm not really liking them but
if I get the opportunity to have one for cheap or free I mostly try XD
but they are getting pretty annoying, and the fact that THIS is the most popular and easiest way to make money these days is just ridiculous
until now I've not wanted to make a species, and I kind of refuse to, even tho I would've plans (or more likely my friend has amazing ideas and I'm all like lETS DO THIS OMG and she's more like eh artblock XD idk)

pf well for me i simply dont have any points |D so i couldnt get any anyways, and most closed species are animals anyways and i cant draw them so it would be kinda pointless for me to get them XD
ah well maybe you should just make a bunch of closed species and get easy money XD
it is annoying though cause half of the time adopt artists use bases and sell the character for so much like wow. i have seen adopts go up to like $400. dude i could probably buy a ps4 with that much money |D
eh for me i have never been interested since it really only works if you have a lot of watchers or are popular XD

yeah it makes me upset that adopts are the big thing now, dont get me wrong i love some adopts some are really well made and have great color schemes but for the most part i feel like people now just throw something together and call it an adopt and sell it for so much pff

pff well i mean i guess in a way i cant blame them, they need to get money or want it. also i love creating designs which is why i did adopts (i dont do them so much anymore cause i have to make them super cheap to sell them so its not really worth it for me especially since i end up liking most of the designs i make )

idk for example I posted an adopt yesterday because I came up with some designs lately and I need to earn back some points I spent. I made it an auction and it's currently on the starting bid for some hours already :I I feel like my art is worth more but eh, I wether don't have the talent or I don't know the right ways to promote it who knows

yeah same, like i feel that my adopts should be worth way more than 100 points sometimes but i just cant ever sell them for more pff. so now when i do adopts im super lazy and use bases cause i dont see a point in trying so hard on it if i cant sell it for more than 100 points haha.
i think its just hard to compete with all the famous adopt artists and people would rather buy from them even if they at times dont make great adopts or anything (like dude i have seen adopt artists make such simple designs like just a t-shirt and they ended up selling them for so much just cause people want an adopt from that artist).
i hope it calms down soon pff, even though i dont watch those artist i still see those things everywhere

for real i mean i think of it this way, so you know my ocs Plague and Rae. i feel like many people would make that a closed species even though they are just werewolves/werewolf-ghosts. but people do that, its like they start making everything a closed species. you cant really do that. you can go around saying every dog with horns belongs to you and you cant make them. its wayy to out of hand.
and i personally never understood closed species, i mean most of them arnt even that unique and anyone could just accidentally make them if they dont follow that artist.

it's exactly what I mean, but Idk, I'm unable to create something rather good on bases which I just color or such, so I mostly end up making none unless I have an idea which I don't want to keep.

I see what you mean, I have a character which I love and I refuse to make it a species because I want him to be unique (it's my planet heart dog alien thing, I know it's not all that original to use space and stuff but that's even more of a reason why I don't want it to be a species Β’__Β’ ) making everything a closed species won't help anyone, seriously

I do kind of own(ed) two closed species, but I completely sold everything I owned from the one I made myself (I came up with it waaay before all the hype)
and I have another one that I bought soo long ago from someone, and there are only 3 characters of it yet, the original one from the person I bought the species from, one I made myself and I own, and another one I sold. I mean I could make more of them, but I don't really want to because everything uugh

ah usually when i am designing my ocs i use a base first to try out many different designs and find the one i like the most haha then i draw it myself after pff

i feel like closed species just leads to arguments over other people's charas. like i have seen fights literally because someones oc had like a tail or something similar to a closed species. and it gets pretty intense, i would rather stay away from that
eh well like i said some of them arnt bad and im not against people selling or buying closed species i just think it gets way too much out of hand
