This is really worth a full view and is certainly worth of a
Beautiful peachy tones and not a blown highlight in sight. I can see a little contrast masking (i think) and I wonder if you bracketed your shots and layered them. Stunning work and a beautiful image. May i ask what equipement you used?

hello there! thanks a lot for your comment! actually, on this image I didn't do any editing. why you can't see the data is because I have an ancient version of Photoshop (version 5.5) on my ancient laptop and I guess that is why it doesn't show. when I submit pictures that I have opened on my friend's CS2 all the data shows! so anyway, I used my small compact camera (a Panasonic Lumix) and I underexposed one aperture stop. I experimented a little with the exposure on the sunsets and I have found that underexposing one aperture stop is the key to a successful sunset also: my compact camera makes much better sunsets than my digital SLR, it makes better saturated colors which helps a lot. and did I mention that I was sitting on the beach for 2 hours until that d... sun went down?

Ahhh, I love the Panasonic Lumix camers, I keep meaning to pick one up for walkabout shots when I'm, at work and where am SLR isn't appropriate
