Description
The combination of a fear of water and reading enough stories (such a Spiderwick) to sustain a small village used to have child-me believe that tadpoles could grow into people, and that whenever something graced your leg beneath the surface or got wrapped around your ankle, it was these creatures trying to pull you in. Not for wicked reasons but because our tiny little feet and strange movements set of their curiosity. I envisioned them hiding in the seaweed, their hair blending in with it unless you took a closer look. I believe they would've been kind, just not understanding why we stopped trying to move after a few minutes...............................art and description belong to © me
