Oh... My... GAHD.

I was exoecting to take hours and hours on this, but surprisingly it only took about 9. I guess I've just gotten THAT much more efficient with a Bamboo.

Anyways, I wanted to go with something a little more conceptual this time. I had all these ideas for how I wanted the drawing to look, the first being this girl standing on the edge of a pond, staring down into the water, and then I wanted there to be a few leaves on the surface, and one just barely floating above. Sadly, I scrapped the idea, but I'm sure it would have looked good.

This is what I actually ended up doing. The idea was that she'd met a guy that she liked, and went for one of those whole "Pick the petals off a rose" thing to see whether he liked her back or not. Suddenly, a breeze comes along and leaves but one rose completely intact.

Now, for the in depth on the details. The lines took roughly 3 hours, not including the Illustrator hassle... Sometimes it just, idk... fails. The coloring took around 2 hours, since I really only used the Wand tool and brush/paint bucket tools. The shading I started today at around 4, and finished just a few minutes ago, around 6:55. So it took about 3 hours. I actually laughed at how good the final product looked, no joke.

Also, about the clouds. It's a custom brush I borrowed from a dood on Youtube. It speaks for itself. As for the crudeness of the Brick Glue stuff, I did that on purpose, since it typically looks like it was thrown down anyways, lolz.

Anyway, please guys, let me know what you think. I wish I could ask for critique, but sadly I don't want to pay for a Premium. . At any rate, comment, fav it, do whatever to let me know if I succeeded. Thanks guys .
