You'd be surprised how much you can do with just manipulations of rendered Photoshop Lens Flares. This particular wave distortion effect I used on one caused it to come out looking rather like pedals and vines. Maybe a rather malevolent little botanist's nightmare. I used a similar effect as I did in [link] but that one just includes a similar design as an overlay (stain) on a wall that I think resembles snakes more than anything flora. I also learned my lesson in meddling with small image sizes. I'll have to remember that I can always make it smaller, not bigger, unless I somehow could vector.
