Photoshop 7.0 via trackpad. Apx. 3-4 hrs. (felt like longer)
Naruto, VT logos, Pikachu, Pokeballs, and Ash Ketchum all don't belong to me. Go figure.
Edit: And contrary to popular belief, no- I do not own a tablet. My sister does but rarely can I steal it. ^...note that above, I tried to but the pen is broken.
So yes, I do this entirely by mouse/trackpad on my laptop. You can do anything if you want it hard enough.

just takes practice. i suppose it would be the same way you learn with a tablet. i just got irritated with my sister's tablet- and haven't really tried one since.

i never used to be able to draw on the computer either. but eventually i got better at it. i mean- heck, i don't even use a mouse. i do it all using a trackpad- the built in mouse in a laptop.
practice really does make perfect.

i was... er 17 years old. this was my eh second try with photoshop.
and i'm not a diehard artist. i just drew on a whim. so it's not like i practiced everyday. i just had funny ideas- made them comics- and for some reason, people like it. honestly- i don't know why people love my chicken scratches so much.

lol nope i just hold down shift- and connect the black lines. it took me awhile to get anything to look good through it- since you drawing without any curves or circles mostly. But it's kinda become my style so I keep doing it even when a tablet becomes available.

well actually i would have been inspired by sailor moon if i didn't think that that art style was out of my league. pokemon looked so much easier... and it had animal like creatures in it. and I loved animals.
