I think you did a pretty nice coloration job on it
The colours are really vibrant and the type of shading adds textures. You did great on respecting the light source and I really love the symbol you added on the background. It really matches the picture! ^^
Some would probaly have put the skin shinier but I like it like this, even if maybe the hair could maybe be slightly improved with some sort of soft 'halo' type shininess anime style often have. I love the bright orange colour though; it seems to bring life to the character. The one thing bothering me about the whole would be the apparent lack of lips or too-soft coloring of them if there was some. Maybe enhance them even if just some under lip shadows or something.
Otherwise the whole face is great; the eyes are simply stunning. A great gaze that really strikes out.
I like the fiery of him and the textured shading. You did a great job, go on like this ^__^
