It turns out that in the Calamity War, Mobile Armor's were AI-driver machines of war.
As if there weren't enough Metal Gear crossover jokes/puns already (Tekkaden= Diamond Dogs, child soldiers, nanomachines, "Punished Mika"), this machine looks just like Metal Gear Ray (noted in it's wiki page).

If someone could create/find a IBO AMV using footage of Hashmal with the MGR:R song "Rules of Nature", I'd appreciate that.
