Interesting story with that, the BMP was parked as a tribute. Protesters painted it pink. The Russians painted it the original colour. The protesters came to paint it pink again, they were shot. Today the tank remains the original colour.

Thats one small sub. Colour looks like it would fit into the blue-green sees of some place Tropical like the Bahamas.

Underwater, the color of a submarine doesn't matter much. However, such a small sub would definitely be diesel-electric and need to surface to charge its batteries, so they'd better have a new color planned for it.

I think it was something about mixing white lead primer with red lead primer or something like that...it's been a while since I've seen the movie...but it shows up every few months on TCM so it's no biggie...
