I love the simplistic design of the weapon, yet the tiny additional details are what make it more believable...however the axe does not seem appropriately proportioned to angle you are aiming for. The back/away section seems slightly (and I do mean, slightly) too large in comparision to the rest that he is angled at. I hope that helps. 8D Otther than that I see no other technical errors.

this is a long pole arm kind of axe, the pole is irregular as orcs use more raw materials. the counterweight is added to create momentum and as a bonus attack feature.

Ah I see....however in that case, perhaps you should add more shading to emphasize the dip of the angle; of course if it doesn't meet your tastes, ignore the suggestion.

Very nice. I particularly like the way that you drew the axe. A lot of times when people draw this type of fantasy subject involving a weapon, they put a ridiculous amount of crazy decoration on it, and it ends up looking horrible, but yours looks quite nice.

AT last!! someone who doesn;t say why i am not coming up with crazy looking weapons!! answer: they are cumbersome in combat and you can get prone to cutting yourself with it. I like to keep it traditional.
