One of my favorite mythic characters! The whole story, "Journey to the East" is great. Never did gathering Buddist scriptures from India sound so good. I love the dynamic pose and the lovely colors. Beautiful design.

Looks interesting, but a bit too full of the bright special effects. The best Journey to the West series I've seen have very little special effects and just good makeup. I watched at least 3 versions of it when I was younger because I love the characters so much. It really takes the proper actor to get the mischievousness of the Monkey King right.
