These look a far bit too red to be fasciculare even at pin stage. Do you know what tree species they were fruiting from, or was it too decayed to make an ID?Β

Here is a picture i took of some others a few days ago, oniroid.deviantart.com/art/Mac⦠they were very small stage growth and very vibrant, I try to photo the unusual variants that i find, even though some look redder when young they tend to loose it at they mature, I can't remember what the tree type was but i do have other pictures from that patch, so i shall look into at some point and get back to you

Ah ok I wasn't sure if they were sublateritium. The tree species they infect usually makes them distinguishable. If they're fasciculare its most likely a conifer, or birch. Beautiful photography as always!
