Kindhearted, sweet-natured and naieve, Ameera was the child to the leader of a small group of Aurorus who had somehow managed to survive beyond the confines of the Prehistoric Research Facility, keeping themselves hidden in Glacier Valley and she was primed for a leadership position once she reached of age. Unfortunately hunters came across them first and sensing a massive profit from the capture of these fantastically-elusive creatures, they descended upon the herd and set them about in a wild panic. Using fire, the managed to separate Ameera from her family and took her with them to sell off to a middleman.
Here, she was broken in to be used as a travelling tourist attraction, being forced to do tricks and give rides to paying customers with children and her abuse continued until one patron grew a consience and reported her existence ro the Rangers, who eventually conducted a raid to break the operation.
Among them was Rhames, who had loaned Lazarus to them as air support and in the ensuing stampede, she, unable to escape due to her restraints was almost crushed to death until Rhames had Marjan the Carracosta defend her while he worked to free her from her chains.

Because of his experience handling Titan-Class Pokemon, her care and rehabilitation was delegated to Rhames until she was well enough to be released into the wild and she's been with the household ever since, enjoying a renewed sense of freedom as she wanders the grounds and trying to get back a semblance of normalcy to her life.
She still believes that her parents are out there somewhere and once she's stronger, intends to head out to find them.

Think Sara Crewe . She's basically an older dinosaur Sara Crewe.
Thinks of Marjan as her 'knight' and has a crush on her.
Has an aversion to circuses/situations where a Pokemon seems to be exploited for entertainment.
Still has massive PTSD from being broken in and is prone to spates of catatonia when hit with a trigger (Usually when being pinned down/restrained in some manner because as far as she could recall, if she didn't fight back then she wouldn't be hurt)
Uneasy around children beyond Zoe due to bad experiences with them.
Her scarf hides a rope burn around the base of her neck.
"Ladies don't start fights but they can finish them!"
Looks up to Lazarus as an adopted father.
