Description [Day 125 of the 365 Photo Challenge]

The Haunted Mansion all lit up.

I have multiple pictures of it lit up in different colors, and I'm debating whether I'm going to post more than one or not. (They're from different angles at least... more or less.) If I do they'll be spaced out, I promise.

I love this ride so much. It's definitely my favorite.

Taken at Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World.

I love the lighting, it really gives the mansion that eerie look it needs. Great shot!

I've never been to Disneyland but I want to go at least twice so I can see the Haunted Mansion as it is normally, and as it is at Christmas for the Haunted Holiday. We don't get that at Disney World, so it's just the same old Haunted Mansion. At Halloween they light it up differently (I think... I don't actually remember how it's lit up normally) and they have a woman outside telling stories and talking to people as they go by. She's supposed to be one of the 999 Happy Haunts who went outside for a little air, and the one we saw was absolutely hilarious.

Oh wow, the one at Disneyworld looks awesome! Ours looks more like a southern estate.

The one I want to see the most is probably the one in Disneyland Paris. It kinda looks like the Bates' house in Psycho.

I really want to go to the one in Paris since it's the only one to have a different "story" and it's a little more on the scary side. Hopefully someday!

Yeah, I like the different story they came up with for it. I've heard it has a lot of similarities to the Disneyland one (I didn't know they also had a real working elevator till today), but it's a little more scary. If I ever do get to go, I'd definitely be heading to the mansion first. Then Space Mountain.

I haven't even gone on Space Mountain at Disney World. I'm such a wuss when it comes to roller coasters. We'll go on Big Thunder Mountain Railroad and Ryan teases me about the fact that I don't scream like other people, I make little squeaking and yelping noises instead.

I'm actually interested in Space Mountain, but I don't like the fact that it's set up so you sit one behind the other. I like sitting next to Ryan so I can cut off the circulation in his arm as I'm squeaking my head off. (The first time we road BTMR he could seriously feel where I'd been grabbing his arm for at least half an hour after the ride.)

I'm like that with anything that turns me upside down. I just refuse to get on it... >.> But space mountain isn't so bad... and since you have to sit behind him, you can wrap your arms around his stomach and maybe squeeze out his last meal or something (eeww).

I don't know about the one in Disneyworld, but the one here in Disneyland is so awesome - I can't imagine not going on it whenever I go to Disneyland.
