Haha, cool scene. I take it Hitmonlee and Hitmonchan are rivals? I always liked Hitmonchan more too. If they started a fight, I could see Bruno quickly stepping out of his meditative state to ending it immediately.
I love this background! A very clever way of making what seems to be a waterfall.

Thank you!! I like doing full color backgrounds, but I don't like to distract the eye from the characters (which are usually the focal point.) The waterfall was really fun to create. Thanks for the comment, I really appreciate it ^-^

The first thing that comes to mind when seeing this picture is simply Pokemon! <3
I really like this piece, it shows how serious Bruno is towards his training. The art style is excellent, it suits Pokemon perfectly. The reflections in the water are very well done, even the ripples look great. My favorite part is how both Hitmonchan and Hitmonlee are both peeking rather than concentrating.
I also prefer Hitmonchan.

And Bruno is like "QUIT YOUR WHINING. YOU SHOULD BE THANKFUL, ONIX WISHES HE COULD TRAIN WITH US UNDER THIS BEAUTIFUL-ASS WATERFALL, BUT HE CAN'T."
...This was all I could think while I was drawing. Lol
