thanks, i know i should have used google, but artists sometimes make up words or mean them a quite new way

anyways, the picture is really interesting, but i can't seem to get a hold on it anyhow

this is wonderful! i love the simplicity of this organic form and your hatching is unbelievable. i was wondering how you got the negative space on the plate so white. i always get some sort of plate tone. did you do it on purpose?

thank you for your comments .
i liked your etchings . i liked the way you mixed the colors at one plate . and the way you use the forms . very similar . i like this ''devianart '' because of this . i can see effect on our works of the common mind of the universe .

yes i like the white part as it is . first you have to fix your plate ( cupper or zinc) very well . polish it well . then you have a very clear and clean surface that would not keep the ink on it . and when printing , i only give the ink to the places where there are lines with the tip of my fingers . then i clean it with a special paper ( sorry dont know the paper types in english) till there s no ink out of the lines . its easier to do it on small plates .
sorry for my bad english explanations

thanx for the response! your explanation makes sense. i use industrial grade copper and i do not polish it so i always have plate tone. i was just amazed at how clean your plate came out...kudos on the excellent craftsmanship!!
also, thank you for the comment on my etchings.
