It reminds me of a book character I really love. A painter who used to paint the sea with sea water, and every evening he came down to the shore to try to paint it, the ocean.
It reminds me of a past life of mine. I don't understand what you wrote below though.

below the photo i wrote a poem which mentioned about a ferry passing thru Bosphorous every day. but that day it did not pass and poet worried about it.i try to translate it:
"just for you, this calm night is -- you are not there
maybe you've slipped by your dock; maybe you has not; empty, The Bosphorous is now.
You are not here"
