APPEARANCE
At first glance, Firemaw looks almost like a pure skywing - that is, until you notice her odd sail along with the antennae and beautiful splashes of vibrant blue scattered across her scales. The biggest giveaway of her Silkwing genes are her wings - while they’re almost as large as those of a normal Skywing, she sports two pairs of them, each shaped in a manner resembling bird wings with complex patterns and a wide range of colors on display. In some places her membrane is translucent, characteristic of Glasswing’s family.
Firemaw is quite the odd dragon once you take a close look at her, but many consider her good-looking. She retained her Skywing mother’s tall build, large wings and fairly muscular shoulders, but also inherited her Silkwing mother’s graceful shape and vivid colors. Thanks to needing to climb every day for the majority of her life, she has a decent amount of muscle with a tiny bit of chubbiness to accompany it here and there.
Upon a closer look, one may find some odd details - aside from the leftover Sandwing sail braided at the bottom, there’s visible gaps between her scales along her neck. These spots glow whenever she uses fire and are weak points where it’s much easier to hurt her. One might also notice some severe scarring around those spots as well as her mouth, but these are usually neatly covered underneath a layer of paint.
There is a recurring fire theme to her looks; starting with the flame-resembling sail, through the curved horns. But the most prominent aspect of it can be best seen at night, when she approaches a stronger light source - there is a number of small iridescent scales scattered across her body, which shine with yellow and blue.

POWERS
> Liquid fire - for some reason her fire resembles burning water more than actual fire. She runs out of it faster than a normal Skywing would but also burns a lot faster (imagine pouring boiling water over yourself. Now imagine that water is on fire and more dense, so it stays on you instead of flowing down). She can spit it to around half dragon-length, and droplets can reach full dragon-length. It resembles something between liquid honey and water in terms of how dense it is.
> Silk - she can weave silk, though producing it is a process significantly (about eight times) slower than for normal Silkwings, so she can’t use it in combat. Maw is able to weave small “spider webs” for herself to sleep up in the trees.

Maw has been learning Old Pantalan for years, and she puts a lot of effort into it. She’s been studying art ever since she was a kid, though it was mostly self-taught until she was about seven. She went to a prestigious Skywing school and studied the typical subjects - maths, history, biology etc but only knows these on a basic level. Her mother, Havoc, taught her basic self defense - though not to much avail. Maw is a bit better than an average dragon at dodging blows, but that's about it.

EXTRA
> Fire vents -  an abnormal aspect she was born with. They’re weak spots on her neck and chest where there are no scales and whenever she breathes fire, they glow. If punctured, they will leak fire, hurting her in the process. There can be a bit of smoke seen coming from them when she uses her fire for a longer time.
> Weaker lungs - Maw wasn’t born with Skywing lungs, making intense or prolonged flight harder and more tiring for her.
