The Texas sky was sunny, shining with an ungodly temperature that had spiked to at least forty degrees celsius... The weather frowned upon an individual with no untold power, at least not any longer... nothing unique is granted to those who have no use for such a speciality. Life can often seem meaningless, and none knew it better than a human girl named Lauren Ash Courage.
Lauren walked down the hall, with a lethal glare, she hated her life... she hated being normal. A routine life, with a common, nothing special, daily, occurrence. There was something she had forgotten, something very important, but she didn't care anymore. Whatever it had been, it abandoned her... just like everything did. There was something wrong with her, everyone knew it. There was a darkness in her, a growing darkness, with a powerful, growing vengeance...
A boy, a player-in other words, slipped around, and stood in her path, with a sly grin...
"Hey, babe." Terrence had been the one to stepped in front of her, "Ready for that date of ours?"
Lauren's top lip tilted up, and she growled, "Back off."
"Hey, just chill, gorgeous..."
Lauren began backing away.
"There's somethin' dark about you, I like that," Terrence chuckled. "Just show me a bit of that darkness, babe."
That something which had been important... it had been an entire month. She remembered bits a pieces, but the only one who had stayed with her, the only name... was Optimus Prime. Had he died? Where did he go? Why was Lauren alone again? The one time she had felt like there was someone else... was also the time that he was ripped away. That world abandoned her... just a stupid dream, and from that moment, she had begun her fall. One can't just go back to a normal life after doing something like that, it's not how that kind of thing works. "I'm warning you, back off!"
"I thought you wanted company," he purred, in a manipulative voice.
The boy was right, there was something dark in her... something very dark, and she couldn't let it get out. She dodged his hand, grabbed his wrist, and twisted his arm behind his back, before shoving him into the wall, "Do not test me, boy!" She released him, and ran down the breeze-way, before turning to the left, and making a B-line for the parkinglot. It was just like, some how the sunlight vanished, and the day seemingly became night! Lauren not to account for the fact that as she stared into the dark, she was still standing in the road, and at that second, she saw the headlights of a truck getting bigger and bigger, before darkness replaced the light.
