So, I was reading this awesome fanfic from crossfire775 and they did this really interesting take on a Jack Savage with some serious mental health problems and suicidal tendencies. When I read the scene where Skye is calling him out on his shit I was pretty moved. I've never had to deal with mental health problems myself but I've watched a number of my friends and my own father struggle through it. If you've never had to deal with it, it's hard to know the right things to say, especially when the shock of learning your loved ones are feeling suicidal affects you as much as it does them.

I highly recommend reading Brighter Skies, it is very good.

As far as the picture goes, I feel like I'm at a point artistically where I can do some pretty good doodles/line art, but when I go to digitize things it gets all jacked up. I think I might try to properly scan this piece and try it again, rather than trace with my tablet, but we'll see.
