Woah, how the heck did I get this done in under 10 hours? I'll take it, haha.Anyway, yet another last-minute piece for my portfolio. Lookin' for any useful suggestions, of course.
Kind of split between fantasy vs sci-fi for category. Just picked fantasy for now.

Anyways, I like your artwork and I hae to say I love the blue glow coming off the tank as well as the blue further back near the creature's legs. It makes it look like he really issitting in some water and gives it nice depth. The only thing that bugs me is how it looks like the tip of his face is sicking out of the glass. It might be the light or just how it sticks out in comaparison to the hand that's pressed against the glass. If you want some useful tips, try putting a little more shadows on the chin area and the more sunken in places of it's face.
Other than that though, it's a very, very /i> minor thing and it in no way obscures the image or the quality. It's very appealing- somewhat fascinating- to look at and you did a fantastic job!

Hell, for all we know, that crap's scuttling around on the bottom of the ocean.
I really like this. Maybe it's just the "painting" style coloring, or the fact that the thing in the tank appears to be chatting with his photographer, but it seems like one of those pieces where over analyze it just ruins it.
