Commission for Noelle.I had to pretty much copy this pic, but give him the hair he has here and here and make him look angelic somehow. Hope it worked ^^'

yes lol I avoid instruments as much as I can X"D but for this commission, I couldn't wriggle my way out of it. I just had to grit my teeth and try, for once, with rendering detail on an inanimate object DX Thougn I couldn't freehand the strings and the white ...thing. (XD) And I drew one of the circle thingies and just duplicated it. But OMG THE PAIN coz originally I drew the guitar WAAYYY off proportions and only realised it in the end DX GAY. So there was a LOT of editing and resizing and re-colouring asjjkjnadk BUT IT'S OVER NOW! YES~

omg. The idea of using multiple references makes me want to harm myself. You aced the angelic part. The glow is really subtle, and it looks perfect.
I love the way you paint. You actually use brush strokes and different colours, and you're so amazing at it, and it comes out looking like a painting. I never have the courage to do that, 'cause I think I won't be able to pull it off and it'll just look sloppy. =_=

I'm slowly getting used to using multiple refs, but all the stuff I use multiple refs for turn out rrreeeaaallllyyy simple to the point that it looks like I didn't use multiple refs at all D:
It's because I don't have the skills and talent to make them look like photos (I hardly ever get "WAU is that a photo?" comments. If I do, I would like to someday way "NO! BECAUSE I'M AWESOME LIKE CRIMEFISH!!! HEIEEHAHHEHEHAHEH" 8D) because I'm hella lazy when it comes to detail X"D I have no patience and a very short attention span (lol I had since August to finish this commission orz)

Actually to tell the truth, I'm not even quite sure what his new look is. I just kind of miss his beautiful boy image as opposed to this new dumpster-diving tranny thing. Like in the "Subarashiki kana, kono sekai" PV he just has like...waaaay too much going on. -_-;;;
But again, despite that you still mad him look nice.
