CONTEXT AND GENERAL INFORMATION
Rookstone has been close friends with the kit-caretaker, Pumpkinflower, for many moons, ever since they were young apprentices. They trained together, and have been close, sharing a trusting and caring relationship. Rookstone and Starlingstar discussed needing new, rebel-born kits, to cement their claim on ShadowClan, and Rookstone knew it was his duty to help produce these kits. He approached his friend, Pumpkinflower, asking if she would be willing to bear and raise his kits with him. Knowing she was the perfect choice, seeing as he didn't have to worry about her getting with another tom, and her experience with raising and caring for kittens as a seasoned kit-caretaker, she agreed enthusiastically. The pair began trying for a litter soon after, and after a check-up with Squirrelsmirk, it is revealed that they have successfully conceived! The two excitedly begin preparing for their young, making a nice nest and talking about names. Starlingstar announces this joyous news to the clan, and many celebrate... but many are also filled with dismay. Controversy surrounds the kittens and their birth, although no outward displeasure is heard... At least, not in earshot of the rebels.

Rookstone and Pumpkinflower will be raising their litter of three together, comprised of Hailkit, Darkkit, and Tigerkit. Hailkit and Tigerkit are up for tryout, and I will be playing their middle sister, Darkkit!

Their gender identity is up to you, however, Hailkit is DFAB and Tigerkit is DMAB. There are base vibes I will have laid out for both of them that should be used as inspiration when developing their personalities in your tryout. Another thing to take into consideration are Rookstone and Pumpkinflower's parenting styles. Lastly, please remember that Rookstone is the ShadowClan rebel deputy, and that he is involved in plot-related situations that cannot be fully disclosed at this time. However, the rpers of the kits will be informed of these things as they come closer to happening IC.

Please keep in mind that the more effort you put into your tryout the more likely you are to win! These kits also have the potential to be highly involved in plot in the future. More information will be disclosed to the tryout winners at a later date.

PARENTING STYLES
Rookstone: Their dad will be a loyal and loving figure, ever present in the lives of his children. However, he will be strict, and unafraid to enforce the rules and ideals he and Pumpkinflower decide on in the weeks leading up to their birth. He will teach them everything he knows, answering every question they throw his way to produce well-rounded and well-educated children.

Pumpkinflower: Their mother will be kind and nurturing, and their primary caregiver. She will remain in the nursery, as is her job, to watch over the litter and raise them while their father is out patrolling or having meetings with Starlingstar. She will be more emotionally supportive than Rookstone, knowing how to teach emotional regulation and healthy coping mechanisms.

Together, the two parents will instill a sense of loyalty exclusive to the cause and ShadowClan, with anti-outsider ideals and a strong belief in StarClan. The kittens will grow up with a strong respect for both Starlingstar and their warrior ancestors, paired with loyalty to ShadowClan first, and family second.

FAMILY TIES
Hailkit, Darkkit, and Tigerkit have a father in Rookstone and a mother in Pumpkinflower. On their father's side, they have a grandfather named Hawkpool and an aunt named Tigermoon. On their mother's side, they have an aunt named Nightmask. Little do they know, they also might have a half brother in Juncokit and a half sister in Helleborekit, as their true parentage is unknown.

- Middle child
- She is named after her aunt, Nightmask, and her dark tabby coat.
- She is by far the most like her father, both in looks and personality. Darkkit is a girl of few words, quiet and cunning, but also ambitious and loyal.

TIGERKIT:

- Youngest
- He is named after both his deceased maternal grandmother, Tigercry, and his aunt, Tigermoon, as well as his ginger tabby coat.
- Kind, Independent, Self-Reliant; the most like mom in personality, but takes after his namesakes in appearance.

RULES
- If you leave the group or wish to not continue playing your kit anymore, I will be taking them back to be placed back up for tryouts.
- I have the right to revoke this character from you if you refuse to follow our rules, however I will be sure to let you know if there’s a problem first!
- Please communicate with me about any plot ideas, severe injuries and scarring, and potential ships!
- Please be active with them!
- Stick to the designs provided for them. Ferny did an amazing job and dedicated her time to create these designs, and we would like to see them used!
