I LIKED it. I like the idea of a heroine that started out running away from everything, finally learning to face what she fears. For ONCE the heroine fought her Own battles. No hero saved her--she saved herself.
Oh and the sets were gorgeous! The characters were pretty damned cool too. I still can't believe Alan Rickman was the Caterpillar--perfect voice for it though.

From what I understand, you either Love it or Hate it--no in-between. I'm not a Lewis Carroll 'purist,' so I'm perfectly fine with Burton's vision of Wonderland.
