I've been wanting to draw the Hobgoblin from the Moomin series for a long while, so it feels nice to finally get that outta my head

I originally wanted to draw him together with his black panther (he rides on the back of a large black panther, how cool is that??
), but I ended up just making a portrait instead.. 
The Hobgoblin is my 3rd favorite character from the Moomin series (my 2 top favorites being Snufkin and Too-Ticky). I might draw more fanart of him sometime in the future

The Hobgoblin looks fantastic! And for some reason, this portrait reminds me of Tolkien...

Wow, good work! It would have been cool, if he had his panther with him. I didn't know he was called The Hobgoblin in English. In Finnish and I guess in Swedish too, he's referred as The Wizard or The Magician.
