Awww, the face that Greg makes when he is offended is so cute. And the face that he makes when he is confused. And his frustrated face in the last panel. Seriously, the whole thing was nothing but a variation of the different and adorable faces that Greg can make. I am also very fond of the way you draw the different countenances of Terrance's visage. He looks so expressive, which is impressive given the floppy mop of hair that obstructs his face (I mean, he even has to ask Greg to read things for him). The joke was pretty clever by the way. Too bad that my limited knowledge of the English vocabulary and its regional specificities prevented me from getting it without an explenation, I guess we learn something new every day...

Faggots in Britain is a dish containing liver and bacon, it is very good, just the name is funny.

Until I read the description I thought it was a weird word play of carrots - faggots... the ending -ots to show some weird like that stuff. Dark humour woooh!

Faggots are also small pieces of firewood, and also used to refer to cigarettes in the UK.Β So yeah, lots of fags in Britain.

This had me confused for a bit since I thought a "faggot" was a bunch of sticks. That's a weird name for meatballs to have.

Ross-Sanger In reply to AngelKayjae [2017-02-24 10:14:02 +0000 UTC]
The literal meaning (going back to the word origin) is "bundle", so I guess it's called a faggot because they bundle in all the waste parts? (They're made from mainly heart and liver)

I was thinking cigarettes. "Light a fag" for instance.

here we have two different meanings which are cigarettes and a bundle of sticks from what I know or at least from where I am
