The last panel is just how I'm guessing Spike would look like as an adult: a lot like Saunders, since Saunders was sort of his idol, at least someone he really looked up to.
...I think he looks quite nice with a goatee.. x3

I just noticed, throughout the novel that Spike is extremely body conscious and would never reveal any skin to others. I am curious that in the last panel you show that he has an open shirt. I wonder if this means he will progress as a character and loosen up and become more comfortable in his body.
I do have two questions though I would like to ask you.
1) I am having trouble finding the comic version of Spike. I am sure I saw it somewhere. Could you link to that. I have read the Graphic novel to chapter 15.
2) You said that you were intending on having the finished first draft of your novel done by November 2017. I have been following this comic project for several years. How is it progressing? When would you have a copy available for sale.
I absolutly hate reading books, there are only 2-3 I have not been forced to read. Your Novel on spike is one of those. It has touched me on a deeply personal level. I relate very much to the character Spike. It has been absolute torture waiting to see what happens past chapter 15. I cry every time I read through it. You are such a talented artist.Β

You know how some folks refer to people who look/act different from what's usual as "those people?" Well, I'll bunch them together for the sake of explanation. Those people, tough people like Spike, weird people, reclusive ones, are all born normal humans. Then something happens, or things continue to happen, and they change (as you showed Spike had changed). It's sad, but only if they feel insecure. Like, 17-Y-O Spike makes me sad (you can see how the things that took place affected him), but 25-Y-O looks kinda pleased with things, so I'm pretty cool with it. I dunno. Just something that I noticed and wanted to share because your art reconstituted that thought.Β

When he was 5 years old he was adorable, 13 years old he looked rather sad at 17 years just pretty dang cool but at 25 years he looks like saunders.Nice art work.
