Rereading the previous comment I've come to a conclusion that I sound like a total asshole. I don't mean any disrespect in anyway, and I'm sorry if it came off that way. I love your artwork and your writing❤ sorry if I was anyway mean or disrespectful!

Don't worry, I didn't think you sounded like either of those things I understand the frustration, and if it is of any consolation I do honestly feel sorry for leaving you on a cliffhanger like that and making you wait. But then again, there are people who have waited since 2009 for the continuation of this novel, and are still asking about when they will get to read the rest. That's 8 years waiting and they're still eager to read the rest, so amidst all the guilt I am also very excited and flattered that people are this dedicated Whether they've been waiting 8 years or 8 minutes, every little "where is the rest?!" comment is like a motivating kick in the butt to make me continue working on it.

I started on this story when I was fifteen. I am turning twenty-eight this year. And I never once gave up on the novel. I've made sure to keep an ongoing, steady process towards finishing it, but it is a story that feels like it's living its own life in a sense, so it has to take the time it needs to take. However - I've been pushing myself a bit extra these past two years, by setting a goal to have the entire first (actually second) draft finished by November 2017 - which is not that far away now  I did an estimated chapter count, and it looks like it might turn into 150+ chapters. So, yeah. Big book. Plausibly better divided into a trilogy, but we'll see. I'll finish writing it on time either way so you're in luck for finding the novel this "late", as you won't have to wait for as long as most others have

That does sound like quite a large book, can't wait to read it. And like you said, I'm quite lucky to have discovered it this late. Now I'm looking forward to when it is published! The dedication it must take to work on something for about 13 years! I think it's a guarantee that the novel will be amazing since you put so much work into it. I can't wait to read it❤

I didn't really have a specific age in mind, but I'd say in his mid- to late twenties? In the drawing I made before I added the beard he was around nineteen years old, and besides the beard I added a few details to show a higher age, so I guess 27 ish?

And yeah, it's fun to imagine characters in their "after"-life wait.. that sounded too dark XD but I guess you know what I meant  I think I've even drawn Spike at 70 years old, lol, with an almost complete storyline and all fun way to keep the imagination, motivation and creative process going

yup 'afterlife' sounds pretty good actually. They are alive, but their story is over. Well I guess? 
There could always be an 'after-story', with spike and sam being old and new characters being introduced, who knows.
Yeh it is interesting, nowadays people only draw hot young dudes an girls (*cough* myself included), but to see how they end up
as adults/old folk is really interesting. Recently I noticed, that the more I myself age, the older I make my OC's :')
I feel like 30 40 yr olds can be just as interesting, if not more than teenagers.

And no problem!! I've been here for long and will be in the future haha <3
