The only child of his parents, it is sometimes difficult for Miles to remember that he isn’t the center of the universe. He isn’t used to forest areas at all, having been born and raised in Steel City, and he still holds a distrust of grass. Apparently the feeling is mutual.

From a young age he had always planned to join the Rogues Guild, and his father was the one who sent him and his companion, Jupiter the Emolga, to Tao Village in order to help fix the place up after Sorbet wiped everything out.

Being so big-headed means that he’s got to have someone to impress all the time, and so Miles occasionally enjoys attempting to flirt with females, when he thinks he can get away with it, which usually ends badly for him. Honestly, the only reason why he allowed Jupiter to join his team was to make himself look better and stronger by comparison.

His bandana is identical to one that belongs to his father.

Speech: Says "flaming" when most people might say something like "freaking", doesn't think through what he says, and usually comes off in angry tones and accusations.

Favorite move: Take Down into Flame Charge. "Do you have to ask? I mean, really? I can flaming burn stuff up! And then Wham! Pow! Heck yeah! What part of that doesn't reek of awesomeness?"

Special features: The black markings on his face vary slightly from those of an average Emolga, as the white area is shaped more like a heart. He's also missing a large chunk of his left ear.

Jupiter is young, just younger than his companion Miles, whom he adores and looks up to as a great friend as well as a brother. His nature being naive means that he’s a few sparks short of full cheek pouches, as the saying goes. Completely oblivious to the fact that Miles doesn’t really care for him, he’s always cheering on his friend in the midst of a battle - or anywhere else. He tends to be quiet and reserved when no one is speaking directly to him, but once he starts going it’s difficult to get him to stop. It may seem strange, but Jupiter is thoughtful too. Though he’s not much of a strategist, he’s Miles’s eyes in the sky. Or at least he is when he can hover there for longer than a few seconds.

Jupiter lost a lot of respect for Miles during Mission 7 ???, and if you ask him about it he'll simply mutter, "He wasn't there. . ."

Speech: Not a large vocabulary, says "lots", "gotta", "wanna", and "really" often. He's easily confused by a lot of things other people say.

Favorite move: Hidden Power. It's his most practiced attack, and it's also a ranged move. With his high speed he can dodge any counters and still hit from afar. Plus it means that he doesn't have to slam into anyone at top speed, which is something that, unlike Miles, he does not really enjoy.

Brandy, like many of her species, was born and raised in Snowy Village near the Whispering Peaks. Not much else about her life back then is known, though it apparently wasn't very exciting for a soon-to-be adventurer, and she left it behind.

Sometime during her wanderings she arrived in Tao Village and was temporarily registered under the Merchants Guild, followed by the Rogues Guild, and then finally she decided to just give up on the whole idea and become a freelance mercenary. She performed odd jobs now and again for a few. . .shifty characters, and was a rather common sight around the village.

She ran into Jupiter - literally - just before Mission 8 began. Though reluctant to join "Team Brightflare" at first, she finally accepted the offer because she wanted to protect the lone Jupiter from harm. Apparently she's a sucker for little kids.

Brandy is a tough competitor and never afraid to resort to dirty tricks in order to best her opponents. She loves climbing trees and uses this to her advantage during battle, often springing down on opponents from above with her claws at the ready. She's very loyal to those she considers her companions and will rarely leave them even in tough situations, though she'll often threaten to if they don't move fast enough. She especially has an attachment to eggs and little children.

In battle, she isn't the most strategic of Pokemon. Her preferred battle technique involves spamming Ice Punch - or any move that happens to be super-effective on her enemies - until her opponent collapses from exhaustion. Even when she does catch onto someone attempting to outstrategize her, she'll often continue to attack them rather than spending time trying to figure out what's going on. She seems to believe that her high attack power will be enough to get her through just about any situation.

Despite her apparent lack of smarts while in battle, Brandy isn't unintelligent in the least. She knows how to pick her battles and will not attack simply because someone has insulted her pride. Unless, of course, she has obvious Type-Advantage over them. In that case, she's prepared for an all-out war. She's also stubborn and isn't too likely to change her mind once its set. However, she has a bad habit of making quick decisions and is fully a "leap before you look" kind of gal with a terrible sense of the consequences that may stem from her hasty actions.

For whatever reason, she seems to be terribly attached to her tattered scarf despite the fact that it's proved to be a liability in many situations.

-Miles's collab with *Lisakatzi's Leonie has been completed, so he receives a voucher for it.

-Jupiter completed Mission 7 ??? and gained a voucher for it. The voucher was later spent on his Zoroskin Scarf during ooriddleoo.deviantart.com/art/… . He also received a free Beaded Bracelet.

-Miles picked up his awesome (but apparently slightly lopsided) poncho in ooriddleoo.deviantart.com/art/… . He doesn't always wear it, but he likes it anyway. He still wears his bandana too, but you can't really tell very much anymore.

Status on evolutionary scrolls:

-One scroll gained for completing Event 6.1. Hmm. . .now, what to do with it?

-One scroll gained for completing Event 6.2 and another for completing Event 7. Miles's item boxes were full, so Jupiter was given the scrolls. Plus he totally needs them in order to evolve into a winged Raichu.

-A scroll was used to add Brandy to the team, and Jupiter's other scroll was placed in her item box since she needs it more than he does.
