I love this idea that we see only half of them, it gives them this You-open-the door-and-hear-'Good-morning-we-are-here-to-solve-this-mistery'-look... And it seems almost needless to say they look once again so pretty and totally recognisable one could drown. Your utterly masterful colouring skills are amazing, those gleaming intense eyes, such realistic light- and shadow-depictions and (random observation) Watson's blue coat goes very well with his red tie.. I am in awe, as always. 
THANK YOU for uploading and taking the trouble to make the file a bit bigger! 
And it just came into my mind... sometimes, there are ideas that belong to the category of being extremely improbable or even impossible to realise, but if they would be made a reality, then they would be one of the very most awesome things in the world... you making a 'Graphic Novel' with these two beauties is one of them. And this could be a cover.
