the fishkeeper. nothing to say. was bored and just started to draw. this came out. sort of speedpaint. don't know if it's finished, but didn't feel like drawing more on this piece.(dl plz for more details, because they disappear if you don't look close at the picture...)

Hey you mind helpin me with somethin? I'm working on an image that needs transparent areas like the keepers belly area. Any tips on how you took the approach to this effect? I'm getting it to work oky but you seem to know the trick.

hum...good question oÔ
i think that i tool just a brush with a low opacity and painted over the belly and its inner stuff.
choose a very low opacity for your brush, so that you can see the strokes only then when you did a few strokes. i think that would work. and there where the skin is tensioned the most, it needs really just a few strokes, so that it stays almost transparent. after you did so, you dan still add some details and highlights which shine through the skin/whatever.
that's it i think. hope it helps a bit

Naw i see that portion. There is an orb shape with the salmon looking fish, but the black stuff leaking out of it's eye socket looks like a spirit

and i know that it's quite dark, but if i made it lighter, the picture would loose its dark aura i think.
