!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Imperius-Rex suggested I redraw this scene from the new SU episode That Will Be All, so I decided to do it! It was really fun!! I really love Blue Diamond's design. She's really pretty and she's a lot of fun to draw. (i'm literally in love with her, tbh.) here's the link to the original screenshot. orig15.deviantart.net/55de/f/2…This was really a fun challenge. It's good to draw out of my comfort zone every now and then. I'd say the hardest part about this was drawing those pillars. They're so geometrical (and have diamond facets, go figure) and the shading was really hard to nail down. (actually, try not to pay too much attention to them.) The bubbled rose quartz gems were also a challenge. But overall it was a lot of fun to work on and I'm planning on doing another redraw very soon!

This turned out really nice and I love how you were able to capture the mood of the scene so effectively, but it still really sucks how what was originally assumed to be just an alien hairstyle was outright confirmed as a helmet after you finished drawing this. However, until we have evidence for the contrary, we can speculate about her actual hairstyle as much as we want. Maybe she just has a really bad case of helmet hair or something? We technically don't know yet. I really hope we see more of the diamonds in upcoming episodes.

God I hope she has a bad case of helmet hair. I've seen many other artists draw her helmet as though it were her hair so I feel a little better about it lol. It still sucks though. P:

Ah, I'm sorry to spoil you, lol. The only ones to have appeared on the show are Yellow Diamond and Blue Diamond, but there's also a third one whose name might be White Diamond, but I'm not sure. And of course Pink Diamond is ...well she was shattered by Rose Quartz. So there's only 3 Diamonds.

I did get to see one of the new episodes and totally fell in love with Amethyst being a toilet plunger (and speaking while in this form). Not gonna lie, I am truly a strange person...but I now know the truth of Pink Diamond (I read the wiki )...she looked better in the murals.
