Gender: Female, mare/doe.
Species/Breed: Qilin (fire, air elemental) (generic Qilin, not associated with any known Qilin HARPG breed).
Age: Unknown/Immortal
Height: 8.25hh (33")
Nature: Peri is a stubborn, aggressive, fickle mare. From the very start she has been as much of a mule in spirit as possible. Her only exception is when she is in the presence of Coriolis and then she acts with dignity, grace and elegance. When put to task (free jumping and halter) she puts her attitude on ice and behaves with a majestic and regal air. It is absolutely impossible to work her if Coriolis is not around, she will use her powers against anybody who tries to handle her. Mai'Tylda has had to develop heat resistant wardings enchanted onto gloves to avoid permanent damage. Wherever Peri's hooves land small fire blasts shoot out but they leave no permanent damage to the floor.
Powers: Fire breath, ability to melt any material. Peri has affinity for beetles, attracting a constant parade of indigenous and exotic species. Peri loves chillies and peppers, her favourite being the ghost chilli.
Relationships with other Eastic Estate members:
Peri came to live at Eastic Estate via invitation of Coriolis. We had not seen him for nearly a week, not unusual for Cori, he often spirited away and returned in particular need of companionship and affection. Cori had been particularly quiet for a few days, ignoring even his best friend Dee. It later transpired that Cori's particular species or breed of Qilin can create portals to an elemental plane where they find a mate and bring them back to their home.
The doe was later found curled up next to Cori in his glade. Upon closer inspection and discovery of her fire/air powers, she's been named Perihelion after the point in a objects orbit where they are closest to the sun.

I decided that Coriolis ([link] ) needed a mate and I have an old character that didn't really get developed particularly that I wanted to recreate. So I've taken her personality and name and made her into a companion for Cori. I may later give them both standard horse forms but I'm quite keen to see what I can do with them as Qilin
