Description
Vera Briggs is Jax’s wife and Jacqui’s mother in "Mortal Kombat X". Though unknown on how they met, Vera is close friends with Jax’s former Special Forces partner, Sonya Blade and is aware of her husband’s involvement in the protection of Earthrealm and his time as a revenant.

She’s not seen in MKX’s Story Mode, but is mentioned during a converstation between Jax and Sonya. She does appears in the comics though, when Reiko attacks the Briggs’ home in search for the Kamidogu dagger that was being held by Jax. Vera refused to leave her husband during the attack, and as Reiko offered to trade their lives for the dagger, Jax complied.
