Description An attempt at an illustration of Erik's fifth birthday as written by Susan Kay. The scene was always so wrenching to me that it sort of begged to be drawn.

I am not at all satisfied with the glass, nor the color, and the hand looks far to grown up to be a child's (naturally, because I gad to use my own). The blood was not originally intended to be as dominant as it is...apparently I got in a dark mood and got a little gore-happy. Eh...what do you think?

Awww. Yeah, that's the saddest bit of the entire book, as far as I'm concerned, or near there. Beautiful. And nawww, gore-happy is good. It portrays the emotion really well.

This is cool I really can't stand a lot of the book. I mean the book is like my fav book of all time. But it just hurts me so much how he is treated. And the sad part it has probly happen in one way or another.
