that background again - its disturbing because its TOO blurry

Depends on how far the background is away, or not? Otherwise it´s just a good stylistic device, because it foregrounds the subject even more.
She is very colorful, with lots of details. A less blurry background would divert the attention and clutters the picture. I think it´s a good shot.

the fact is the background blurryness is faked. You can see it is by the way the subject has been cut out and placed on it, its artificial and it shows. This is the second picture in a row that has been posted like it - previously through all the other photos in the past the backgrounds have been real.
Bottom line is that you disagree with my opinion and i disagree with yours but there is no need for a discussion about peoples opinions you don't necessarily agree with.

My question shouldn´t sound like an accusation, sorry if so. I was just interested why you wrote that.
For me the whole picture looks artificial somehow, but not in a bad sense.
The make-up, colors, etc. nothing looks really natural, and that could be part of the concept- but I wasn´t there, so it´s only my impression.
In the end it´s as often a matter of taste and different opinions- I agree with you in that case
I thought DeviantArt is a place not only to show art, than to discuss it. And discussing doesn´t mean there´s one true point of view.
